North Country Log Homes manufactures ready-to-assemble log home wall kits. We use nothing but the finest quality pine logs and superior joinery systems, and employ designers who work with you on creating a unique, custom design for your home.

Our company was founded in 1977 near the Northern Ontario town of Chapleau. The owner built a log home of his own, which attracted so much attention from others that he decided to go into business selling log home kits to customers. He installed the machinery to manufacture a precut round log wall system. Log homes are beautiful, energy efficient, durable and are now more affordable with North Country Log Home products.
North Country Log Homes' kits and log siding products are manufactured by Devon Mills Ltd.™ on specialized equipment, known as the Chisum Log Mill™. The company has produced quality log homes for discriminating customers for more than 29 years.

We have a wide variety of stock plans to choose from that appeal to a variety of tastes and budgets. Bear in mind that any plan can be modified and your choice is not limited to our plans. If you have one that you like, bring it in. In fact, I can honestly say that no two North Country Log Homes are the same.
"We specialize in custom design and can literally make your rough sketches into the home of your dreams. Our custom design service works with you to finalize the details of your plans. You may specify the materials and design that make your home or cottage unique. Once we know what you want, estimates can be calculated and complete construction documents drawn up. Because a home is probably the most expensive and important purchase a family ever makes, thorough planning and thought should be given to its selection.
